SE SXM P11 Tomichi and Akio

Tomichi and Akio belong to Chasekat (Formerly Chaseyourlove)


They are partners and Tomichi is a friend of Tsubaki's and they share a common interest in Maka's love life... or lack, thereof.

I'm pretty happy on how I drew them here. I think they look pretty and Akio handsome.

Now please allow me to explain my influence on their character design.

Based on the references Chasekat sent me, Tomichi's hair seemed cut in an asymmetrical way (hide from Kid). I also checked her drawings in the creator's gallery and was kinda confused as to what her true eye color is, so I settled on orange, since there aren't many OC's in this story with that eye color. I incorporated the fishnet into the uniform, but I don't really know if it's because she has ninja skills or it's just edgy fashion. It suits her anyways. She seems sweet and soft-spoken yet ready to turn vicious in battle and when it comes to protecting her partner - Akio.

Akio, on the other hand, I had been given much info on his personality and I do hope I caught it in how I portray him here. We have tons of blond-haired, blue-eyed, spiky-haired OC's around so to make his look distinctive from the rest, I made his features somewhat elven-like and sharp. He's cool like Soul (but of course not as cool as Soul-he's the king of cool!), fashionable and direct. He speaks his mind and doesn't care what you think. I have suspicions that his partner holds a special place in his heart, though, since she's the only one he allowed to get close to him. Chasekat, what do you say?
